Where do I start? Katte is such an amazing Spanish teacher! With her, you will learn a lot through very interactive activities. This means you won't only learn Spanish but also get to know the Chilean culture. With my partner, we planned to get two weeks of lessons and ended up getting four. We got hooked to the incredible spirit of Katte. Thank you for all your help, we feel a lot more confident in Spanish now :)

I took the Traveler's Spanish Course and it has been invaluable. After one week, I feel so much more capable communicating in Spanish as I travel South America. Katterina is an excellent teacher and incredibly welcoming. I especially enjoyed our outing to the Cultural Center and the Museum. I definitely recommend Huara Spanishschool. I had one month of spanishclasses and I am very happy I picked this school. Katterina is an enthusiastic and creative teacher, and she was very good at making me feel like all of the classes was personal made for my needs and my level of Spanish. Here you do not only learn Spanish, Katterina also showes you Pichilemu. We went to exhibitions, museums and foodmarkets, where she helped us practice what we learned in the classroom.

Pichilemu is an absolutely delightful place. In my experience Huara Spanish school is the ideal way to immerse yourself in the surf capital, Spanish language and Chilean culture. The culmination of theoretical and practical learning provided at Huara, by Katterina is comprehensive and dangerously fun. Her kind and hilarious family will welcome you with open arms for the duration of your stay, while the rest of the town will greatfully provide you with the chance to engage in a multiplicity of activities. She doesnt just teach Spanish, she also does cultural immersion. She takes her students to Cahuil to see the salt places, to the beach, and the the Feria to learn about foods. She throws a pizza party on the students last day with here. It is more family oriented than like a traditional school.

This is a really good option to learn Spanish at whatever level, get local tips, surf, and experience pichilemu. If you are considering this spanish school or the others in pichilemu, do this one! Cheaper, less traditional yet better culturally, and overall you will leave having known more spanish. Also, staying on property is a good option if you want to speak Spanish with Kati and her family, I did and it was a great experience! Muchas gracias y nos vemos pronto!
